Dosage & Administration
DIRECTIONSPonds with plants: add 1-1/4 cups of POND SALT for each 100 U.S. gallons of pond water (or 100 g for 100 L of pond water).Ponds without plants: add 2-1/2 cups of POND SALT for each 100 U.S. gallons of pond water (or 200 g for 100 L of pond water).Disease treatment: Short-term salt baths are beneficial to kill external parasites and treat fungal infections. In a plastic container dissolve 2-1/2 cups of POND SALT in 10 U.S. gallons of pond water (or 200 g for 10 L of pond water). Do not use tap water. Carefully place infected fish in the salt bath for 5-10 minutes. Do not leave fish in the salt bath for more than 10 minutes. Return the fish to the pond. Treatment may be repeated after 24 hours.Note: Once added to the pond, POND SALT does not evaporate and is not filtered out. So, add additional POND SALT with each water change. The addition of POND SALT is not recommended when topping off due to evaporation.
