This is a description for Fosaprepitant for Injection. The injection is provided in a single-dose vial containing a sterile lyophilized powder equivalent to 150 mg of Fosaprepitant. The powder must be reconstituted with 5 mL of 0.9% Sodium Chloride for Injection, and the final drug solution must be used within 24 hours at a temperature of 25°C (77°F). Solutions containing divalent cations (such as Ca and Mg) should not be used for dilution. The injection is for intravenous use only and must be discarded if any portion is not used. Inactive ingredients include edetate disodium, polysorbate 80, lactose anhydrous, sodium hydroxide, and/or hydrochloric acid. The vials must be refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F).
