Ketosis Treatment for Dairy Cattle

Active Ingredient:



100% Propylene Glycol, U.S.P.


Indications:



For use in the treatment and prevention of bovine ketosis (acetonemia).


Dosage:



In dairy cattle, administer 6-16 ounces per head, per day for 10 days. Severe cases of ketosis may require larger doses. Before administering Propylene Glycol to cows suffering from milk fever, mastitis, or metritis, consult a veterinarian.


Prevention:



In dairy cattle, administer 6-8 fluid ounces per head, per day beginning 2 weeks before calving and continuing 6 weeks after calving.


Warnings



Consult a veterinarian if condition does not respond.


Storage:



Store at controlled room temperature between 15°-30°C (59°-86°F). Keep container tightly closed when not in use.
