End of Marketing National Drug Codes

List of pharmaceutical products approaching their end of marketing date in the following weeks. The codes in this list have been identified by the product labeler as not being in commercial distribution. An upcoming end of marketing date tipically means the product has been delisted but will remain in the NDC database until the end of marketing date is reached. The expiration date of the last distributed lot indicates when the product will no longer be available on the market. Products that are still being sold will not have a set marketing end date. However, for products that are no longer being manufactured, a future marketing end date may be assigned, based on the expiration date of the final lot distributed.
In most cases, the FDA advises firms to use the expiration date of the last lot produced as the end marketing date, reflecting the possibility that the product may still be available even after manufacturing has stopped.
