Usage Information
    1. It is recommended to wear nitrile or rubber gloves when handling a concentrate to avoid staining hands.2. Always mix solutions into a clean, well labeled, non-metalic, empty container.3. Fill empty container with proper amount of cold, soft water.4. Add proper amount of Duet Base to container as directed.5. Add proper amount of Duet Activator to container as directed.6.  Mix in a well ventilated area and avoid breathing fumes.7. Use mixed solution within 12 hours.8. When Duet Base and Duet Activator are mixed properly, according to the label directions, a solution of acidified sodium chlorite is achieved in the ready-to-use product.

Mixing Directions



1. It is recommended to wear nitrile or rubber gloves when handling a concentrate to avoid staining hands.

2. Always mix solutions into a clean, well labeled, non-metalic, empty container.

3. Fill empty container with proper amount of cold, soft water.

4. Add proper amount of Duet Base to container as directed.

5. Add proper amount of Duet Activator to container as directed.

6.  Mix in a well ventilated area and avoid breathing fumes.

7. Use mixed solution within 12 hours.

8. When Duet Base and Duet Activator are mixed properly, according to the label directions, a solution of acidified sodium chlorite is achieved in the ready-to-use product.




A. Pre-Milking (Pre-Dipping)

1. Remove visible soils from the teats.

2. Observe foremilk by stripping two or three streams of milk into a strip cup.

3. Dip or spray the cow's teats full length with Ready-to-Use Duet Teat Dip.

4. Wait at least 15-30 seconds.

5. Remove all teat dip by thoroughly drying the teats, test orifices & udder with a clean, single service paper towel(s) to avoid contamination of milk.

6. Attach milking unit.

B. Post-Milking (Post-Dipping)

Immediately after milking, dip or spray all teats full length with Ready-to-Use Duet Teat Dip.  Ensure good coverage of all sides of the teats and teat orifices.  Allow to dry.  Do not wipe.  Do not turn cows out in freezing weather until teat dip is completely dry.


Warning



1. Use teat dip applicators made of plastic or other non-corrosive materials.  Do not use cups made of aluminum.

2. When solution in the teat dip cup becomes dirty, discard remaining contents and refill cup with fresh teat dip.

3. Do not use this product for cleaning or sanitizing equipment.

4. Wash teat dip cups after each milking.

5. Protect this product from freezing.


Danger



Causes severe skin burns & eye damage.  

Harmful if swallowed.

May be corrosive to metals.


First Aid



If in Eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.  Remove contact lenses if present & easy to do.  Continue rinsing for 15 minutes.  Get immediate medical advice/attention.

If Swallowed: Rinse mouth.  Do not induce vomitting.  Get immediate medical advice/attention.

If on Skin: Immediately remove all contaminated clothing.  Wash with plenty of water for 15 minutes.  If skin irritation occurs, get medical advice/attention.  Wash contaminated clothing before use.

If Inhaled: If breathing is difficult, remove victim to fresh air & keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.  If experiencing respiratory symptoms get medical advice/attention immediatley.
