Otc - Purpose



A non-drying oleaginous dressing for use as an aid in the treatment of cuts, wounds, abrasions or burns on horses or mules.


Active Ingredient:



0.3% w/w PCMX (Parachlorometaxylenol)


Inactive Ingredients:



Mineral Oil, Isopropyl Alcohol, Pine Oil, Benzyl Alcohol, Oil of Eucalyptus, Methyl Salicylate, and Biebrich Scarlet.


Storage And Handling



Store at controlled room temperature between 15° and 30° C (59°- 86° F).


Caution:



In case of deep, or puncture wounds or serious burns or if redness, irritation, or swelling persists or increases, consult a veterinarian. Keep away from eyes or mucous membranes. Avoid inhaling. A combustible liquid, do not use near open flame.

Indications:



An external application for superficial lacerations, wire cuts, burns and surface wounds of horses and mules.


Directions:



Apply freely with a dauber or gauze to affected parts. May be used under bandage if desired.

The treatment may be repeated once or twice daily as indicated.
