Indications:



Common Symptoms of Fungal Diseases Treated

FUNGUS: Whitish tufts of cotton-like material found on fins, tail and/or body at sites of injury 

FIN & TAIL ROT: Split, ragged and deteriorating fin and/or tail

Fritz Expel-F is an effective anti-fungal medication for treating common fungal infections such as Ichthyophonus hoferi and Saprolegnia.


Preparations:



No water changes, pH or temperature adjustments necessary if readings are in ideal range (Freshwater pH 6.4 - 7.6 / Saltwater 8.0 - 8.4, temperature 68° to 82° F). Remove all chemical filtration (carbon, ion exchange resins) before and during use. Turn off UV sterilizer if present during treatment. Aeration and water flow should be maintained. In marine aquariums turn off protein skimmer during treatment; resume use after completion of treatment. Note: Fritz Expel-F will not color or cloud aquarium water. Use of a hospital tank is recommended.


Note:



Fritz Expel-F will negatively affect some desirable macroalgaes and Bryopsis, may cause some corals to retract temporarily. Use with caution in systems containing these species. It will not affect hair or turf algaes.


Directions:



Add one packet of Fritz Expel-F per 10 gallons in a small container or glass, mix, and add to a high flow area in sump. Powder will dissolve in system over time. Treatment only requires one dose. Discontinue use of skimmer during the first three days of treatment. Discontinue use of carbon and chemical filtration for duration of treatment. Perform a 25% water change two weeks after initial dose. DO NOT OVERDOSE. In case
of accidental overdose, remove medication with carbon like Fritz MaxOut Pro.


Active Ingredient:



Each packet contains 200 mg Fluconazole.
