Storage And Handling



STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Thoroughly rinse all measuring devices and store out of reach of children.  Avoid contamination of food or feed.  Store in a cool, dry place.  Keep container tightly closed when not in use.  Dispose of contents/container to an approved waste disposal plant.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

  • Use at full strength (do not dilute).
  • Consult your veterinarian before starting or continuing to use a teat dip on a cow with sore or chapped teats.
  • If used as a dip, thoroughly clean and sanitize teat dip cup before each milking.
  • Use fresh teat dip for each milking.  Dip solution should be discarded if it becomes visibly dirty, or if sediment is introduced.  Do not pour used teat dip back into original container.
  • Do not use this product for cleaning or sanitizing equipment.
  • TEAT DIPPING INSTRUCTIONS

    Pre-dipping/Pre-spraying

    • For optimal removal of organic debris and to remove any residual TitanTM barrier film, use a DeLaval approved pre-spray/pre-dip product.  For VMS, use recommended cleaning settings.
    • Post-dipping/Post-spraying

      • Immediately after removing inflations, dip or spray each teat with TitanTM sprayable barrier.  Do not wipe.
      • Before exposing cows to below freezing temperatures, the teats should be thoroughly dry to reduce the potential of frostbite.
      • Failure to follow these directions may result in frozen teats and injured animals.
      • For spraying equipment, use a DeLaval approved spray nozzle.
      • Regularly check spray patterns to ensure nothing interferes or obstructs the spray.
      • Clean spraying equpment regularly.
