Indications & Usage
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Triumph is a teat dip formulated for use during adverse weather conditions to provide a maximum level of skin conditioning with the power of 1% iodine.
- Use Triumph when the weather and environment are a challenge to herd health and teat skin condition.
- Consult a veterinarian before starting or continuing to use teat dip if cow's teats are sore or chapped.
- Discard any teat sanitizing solution that becomes dirty or contaminated for any reason.
- Do not use teat dip for cleaning and/or sanitizing of dairy equipment.
- Do not pour used teat dip back into original container.
- Good dairy practices suggest the thorough cleaning and sanitizing of teats before milking to avoid contamination and assist in the control of mastitis.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize teat dip foaming cup before each milking. Use fresh teat dip for each milking.
- When switching from another teat dip to Triumph®, or vice versa, all lines, storage tanks, or other equipment should be thoroughly rinsed in between products to avoid any clogging risk.
- Use Triumph sanitizing teat dip undiluted.
- Immediately after removing milking unit, dip or spray teats with Triumph teat sanitizer. Apply an ample coat to each teat.
- If outside temperature is below freezing, allow Triumph sanitizing teat dip to air dry on cow's teats before cow leaves the parlor, or allow teat dip to remain on cow's teats for one minute, then dry teats with a single-service paper towel.
- Failure to follow these directions may result in frozen teats and injured animals.
