Laidlomycin propionate potassium, 50 grams per pound, in a carrier suitable for incorporation in feed.


Weight Gain And Feed Efficiency



For increased rate of weight gain and improved feed efficiency in growing beef steers and heifers fed in confinement for slaughter when fed a complete Type C medicated feed containing 5 g/ton laidlomycin propionate potassium to provide 30 to 75 mg laidlomycin propionate potassium per head per day.

For improved feed efficiency in growing beef steers and heifers fed in confinement for slaughter when fed a complete Type C medicated feed containing 5 to 10 g/ton laidlomycin propionate potassium to provide 30 to 150 mg laidlomycin propionate potassium per head per day.

Not for use in animals intended for breeding.


Mixing And Feeding Instructions



Read all directions carefully before mixing and feeding.


Type B Medicated Feed



Thoroughly mix the following amounts of Cattlyst 50G to make one ton of Type B medicated feed containing the concentrations laidlomycin propionate potassium shown in TABLE 1. When using small quantities of Cattlyst 50G (e.g. two lb/ton or less), perform an intermediate blending step to ensure adequate mixing.

Type B liquid medicated feed manufactured from Cattlyst 50G must have a dry matter content between 62 and 75%, pH between 6.0 to 8.0, and concentration of laidlomycin propionate potassium of 100 to 2,000 g/ton. The label of the Type B liquid medicated feed must carry daily, and prior to use, recirculating/agitation directions and an expiration of 21 days from date of manufacture. The Type C medicated feed manufactured from this Type B liquid medicated feed must be fed within 7 days from date of manufacture.

Type C Medicated Feed



Thoroughly mix the following amounts of Cattlyst 50G to make one ton of Type C Medicated Feed that provides 5-10 grams of laidlomycin propionate potassium per ton of feed on a 90% dry matter basis (TABLE 2). An intermediate blending step should be performed to ensure adequate mixing. For example, use one part Cattlyst 50G Type A Medicated Article with nine parts of feed ingredients to prepare an intermediate blend before preparing a Type C Medicated Feed.

Feeding Directions



Feed the Type C medicated feed as the sole ration.


Animal Safety Warning



Do not allow horses or other equines access to feeds containing laidlomycin propionate potassium (Cattlyst 50G). The safety of laidlomycin propionate potassium (Cattlyst 50G) in unapproved species has not been established.


User Safety Warnings



When mixing and handling Cattlyst 50G use appropriate protective clothing, eye, face, and respiratory protection. If accidental eye or skin contact occurs, rinse immediately with water. Operators should wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling Cattlyst 50G.

Keep container closed between uses.

Store below 25°C (77°F), excursions permitted to 37°C (99°F).
