Description
Active Ingredient: Zinc gluconate 2%
Also contains: deionized water, taurine (1%), xanthan gum, methylparaben, propylparaben, FD&C Blue 1.
For dogs, cats, small mammals, exotics and horses.
Veterinary Indications
Characteristics:

- Stimulates gum healing: zinc gluconate participates in collagen production and recovery of damaged tissues.
- Neutralizes mouth odors: taurine chelates sulfur compounds that produce halitosis.
- Mucoadhesive properties for a prolonged action.
- Does not stain enamel.
- Easy application: can be used with or without brushing.
Indications & Usage
Recommended use:
- Cleans and refreshes oral cavity and teeth for optimal oral health.
- Periodontal problems.
- Gingival healing: oral wounds and lacerations.
- Before and after professional dental procedures to extend its benefits.
- Helps reduce plaque formation.
- Controls halitosis from teeth and gums.
- Helps maintain optimal oral health and overall wellbeing to ensure animal can properly chew throughout life and reduce secondary health problems.
Dosage & Administration
Directions for use:
For Small Animals (up to 20 lbs): Apply 1 pea-sized drop (about 0.5 ml) on each side of the upper gums.
For Medium and Large Dogs, and Horses: Increase the dose as needed, depending on the size of the animal. The natural cleansing action of the mouth will help distribute the gel to the areas harder to reach. For optimal results, apply daily and avoid offering water or food 30 minutes before and after application.
Application Tips: Most pets will allow you to apply the gel directly to the gums using your index finger. Alternatively, you can apply the gel to the outer lips or to the paws and they will lick it off from these areas.
Regularly assess your pet's oral health with your veterinarian.
