Usage Information
    Each band is individually packaged in a plastic blister. Do not touch the band with bare fingers. Wear gloves and eye protection when handling LidoBand - Tri or applying onto the triangle band applicator (not included).LidoBand - Tri is compatible with the Tri-Band™ bander. Because lidocaine is used in LidoBand - Tri, change gloves frequently when handling multiple bands. Follow the manufacturer's directions for the triangle band applicator when applying LidoBand - Tri.For tetanus prevention it is recommended using a Clostridial vaccine with tetanus toxioid prior to or at the time of banding.The properties of the latex changes with temperature. Very cold and very hot bands may break when expanded. Use bands at temperatures between 60°F and 85°F (15°C and 30°C).

For castration of bull calves, and to deliver lidocaine as a local anesthetic. For use in bull calves between 200 to 400 pounds.

Description:



LidoBand™- Tri is a latex rubber band designed to be placed around the base of the scrotum of calves for castration. Each castration band is infused with 160 mg of lidocaine. Lidocaine will quickly diffuse through the skin and remain in the local tissue due to vasoconstriction from the band.


Precautions:



Lidocaine is typically well tolerated. As with all local anesthetics, untoward effects may occur due to hypersensitivity.

LidoBand- Tri should not be used on animals with a known lidocaine hypersensitivity.


User Safety:



If skin comes in contact with LidoBand - Tri, wash affected area immediately with soap and water.


Storage:



Keep stored in a cool, dry place.

Do not leave bands in direct sunlight or allow exposure to high temperatures.

Do not re-use the band.
