Nitrolingual Pumpspray is a nitroglycerin lingual spray used for the treatment of chest pain. The active ingredient is nitroglycerin and each metered spray provides 400 mg of nitroglycerin per spray emission. The medication should not be inhaled and after administration, the mouth should not be rinsed for 5 to 10 minutes. The dosage should not exceed more than 3 metered sprays within a 15-minute period. The medication should be used prophyactically before engaging in activities which might cause an acute attack. It contains 20% alcohol, and the container should not be opened forcefully or burned after use.*

NitrolingualĀ® Pumpspray is a medication containing nitroglycerin that may help relieve chest pain. Each metered dose contains 400 mcg of nitroglycerin and provides 200 metered sprays. Prior to use, the pump must be primed and the container should be held upright without shaking. When experiencing chest pain, one or two metered sprays should be administered onto or under the tongue, and a maximum of three metered sprays may be taken within 15 minutes. Medical attention is recommended if the chest pain persists. NitrolingualĀ® Pumpspray may also be used prophylactically 5 to 10 minutes before activities that may cause an acute attack. The medication should not be expectorated or the mouth rinsed for 5 to 10 minutes after use. The container should not be opened forcefully or burned after use and kept out of reach of children. The medication is formulated by Allegis Pharmaceuticals, LLC and manufactured in Germany by G. Pohl-Boskamp GmbH & Co. KG.*
