What is Canagliflozin?

A glucoside-derived SODIUM-GLUCOSE TRANSPORTER 2 inhibitor that stimulates urinary excretion of glucose by suppressing renal glucose reabsorption. It is used to manage BLOOD GLUCOSE levels in patients with TYPE 2 DIABETES.

What is the usage for Canagliflozin?

Canagliflozin is used with a proper diet and exercise program to control high blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes.
