This is a description of VARIVAX® varicella virus vaccine live. It comes in 10 single-dose 05-mL vials that must be stored frozen. The vaccine contains the Oka/Merck strain, and the human cell issue culture origin is known to have small quantities of neomycin. A special sterile diluent is supplied with the package for vaccine reconstitution. There are no preservatives present in the vaccine.*
