Restasis is a prescription drug used to treat chronic dry eye. The drug comes in the form of single-use vials, with 60 vials in each package. Each vial contains 0.4 ml of the solution, which is sterile and free of preservatives. The active ingredient in Restasis is 0.05% cyclosporine, and the solution also contains glycerin, castor oil, polysorbate 180, carbomer copolymer type A, purified water, and sodium hydroxide to adjust the pH. Restasis should be used twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart. Each vial should be inverted before use and should be used immediately after opening. Restasis vials should be stored in the thermoformed tray until use, and the entire contents of each package should be discarded after one month.*

Restasis is a prescription medication that comes in the form of single-use vials, with each vial containing 0.4 mL of sterile and preservative-free solution. The solution is made up of active ingredient cyclosporine (0.05%) and other ingredients such as glycerin, castor oil, and purified water. This medication is used to treat chronic dry eye and is to be used twice daily with approximately 12 hours apart. The vial should be inverted before usage and discarded immediately after opening. It should be stored at a cool temperature of 15°-25°C (59°-77°F) in the thermoformed tray until use. This product is patented and manufactured in the USA by Allergan.*
