This is a Calcium Carbonate oral suspension packaged in a 500mL bottle. Each 5mL (teaspoonful) contains 1250mg calcium carbonate, equivalent to 500mg elemental calcium, and is suggested for the prevention of calcium deficiency in adults. It is not for use in the USP. The suspension should be shaken before use and taken 2-3 times daily with meals or as directed by a physician. The package includes other ingredients such as methylparaben, sorbitol solution, and xanthan gum, and contains a tamper-evident seal.
