This is a drug facts label for a medication distributed by Perrigo® used to temporarily relieve common cold/flu symptoms including cough, minor aches, pain, headache, fever, runny nose, sneezing, and sore throat. It contains Acetaminophen 650 m and Dextromethorphan HBr 30 mg, and Doxylamine succinate 12.5 mg. This medication is not recommended for use with any other drug containing acetaminophen, for people who are taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), or for people who have allergies to this product. In addition, users are advised to ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if they have liver disease, glaucoma, a cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus), breathing problems such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, persistent or chronic cough as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema, or a sodium-restricted diet. Excitability and marked drowsiness may occur when using this product, especially in children; therefore, users are encouraged to be careful when driving or operating machinery, avoid alcoholic drinks/sedatives/tranquilizers, and seek medical attention if pain/cough gets worse or lasts more than seven days, fever lasts more than three days, redness or swelling is present, new symptoms occur, cough comes back or occurs with a rash or headache that lasts.
