Vicks® DayQuil® Cold & Flu is a temporary relief medication for common cold and flu symptoms such as coughs, sore throat, nasal congestion, and minor aches and pains. It contains acetaminophen, which can cause severe skin reactions, and should not be taken with other drugs containing acetaminophen. The medication may not be suitable for individuals with liver disease, high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disease, persistent or chronic cough, or those taking the blood-thinning drug warfarin. An overdose warning is provided, and in case of overdose, medical help must be sought immediately. The medication is gluten-free and should be stored between 20-25°C (68-77°).
