This is an oral solution medication for diarrhea that contains 1mg of Loperamide HCl per each 7.5 mL. Imodium A-D controls diarrhea in travelers and diarrhea symptoms. The product has warnings such as not using it if you have had an allergic reaction to loperamide HCl and taking more than the directed amount can cause heart problems or death. The purpose of this medication is to control diarrhea symptoms.
