Succinylcholine Chloride Injection, USP is a paralyzing agent supplied in a 10 mL multiple-dose vial. The injection is intended for intravenous or intramuscular use, while precautions should be taken as it causes respiratory arrest. The medication should be kept in a refrigerator, and aseptic techniques must be used while administering. Each mL contains 20 mg of succinylcholine chloride USP, 4.5 g of sodium chloride, methylparaben, 18 mg, and propylparaben, 02 mg preservatives. The injection is sterile and nonpyrogenic.
