Clindamycin Phosphate Vaginal Cream USP, 2% is an intravaginal cream used to treat vaginal infections caused by bacteria. Each gram of the cream contains clindamycin phosphate USP equivalent to clindamycin 2%, benzyl alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol, cetyl palmitate, mineral oil, polysorbate 60, propylene glycol, sorbitan monostearate, stearic acid, and purified water. The usual dosage is one applicatorful (approximately 5 grams) of cream intravaginally at bedtime for 7 consecutive days. The package includes applicators and should be stored at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F). This cream is designed for intravaginal use only and should be avoided in eyes.*
