AVAR e is an emollient cream indicated for use in the topical control of acne vulgaris, acne rosacea, and seborrheic dermatitis. It contains 100 mg of sodium sulfacetamide and 50 mg of colloidal sulfur per gram. The product is contraindicated in persons with known or suspected hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients and is not to be used by patients with kidney disease. The recommended dosage is to apply a thin layer to the affected areas 1 to 3 times daily or as directed by a physician. AVAR e is for external use only and is not for ophthalmic use. It should be stored at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F) and protected from freezing and excessive heat.*
