OVACE Shampoo is a topical medication for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis and seborrhea sicca (dandruff). It contains 100mg of sodium sulfacetamide in a vehicle with various ingredients like citric acid, purified water, fragrance, PEG-150 pentaerythrityl tetrastearate, etc. This product is contraindicated in persons with known or suspected hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, and patients with kidney disease cannot use it. OVACE Shampoo is used by applying it to wet hair and massaging the scalp thoroughly. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes.
