CitraNatal Rx is a prescribed prenatal/postnatal multi-vitamin/mineral tablet that contains dual-iron delivery (quick release and slow release iron). It is an oval white tablet debossed with "CN 1" on one side and is blank on the other. It comprises vitamins and minerals like Vitamin C, D5, E, B1, B2, B3, B6, Folic Acid, Calcium Citrate, Carbonyl Iron, Ferrous Gluconate, Zinc Oxide, Cupric Oxide, and Docusate Sodium. CitraNatal Rx is used to improve the nutritional status of women before conception and throughout pregnancy for both lactating and non-lactating mothers. It is contraindicated for hypersensitive patients and may cause allergic sensitization, and accidental overdose of iron-containing products is dangerous for children under 6 years. The recommended dosage is one tablet daily or as prescribed by a physician. The tablets should be kept away from moisture to prevent discoloration or erosion.
