Warig is a medication containing 14.1 mg of pherine per 5.5 gram and is used to treat phenylketonurics. Prevalite is a powder containing 4 grams of cholestyramine et sttt of resin USP per scoopful. Each 5.5-gram scoop of Prevalite contains 231 g (168 g anhydrous cholestyramine) and is used for the treatment of high cholesterol. The powder should be prepared by using one level scoop and mixing it in a glass of non-carbonated drink with 2-3 ounces of water. The usual recommended dosage is one to six scoops daily. Storage should be between 20°C (68°F) and 25°C (77°F), with excursions permitted to 15°C (59°F) and 30°C (86°F). This medication is only available by prescription.*
