This is a medication guide for Isotretinoin, a drug that may cause birth defects and should not be taken during pregnancy. It is recommended that pharmacists only dispense Isotretinoin with authorization from the IPLEDGE Program, and dispense no more than a 30-day supply. A medication guide is included in each prescription pack. Isotretinoin should be stored at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F), protected from light. Dispensing prescription packs intact is advised.
