This is a solution of 1.5% glycine USP meant for urologic irrigation. It comes in a 3000mL container and is sterile and nonpyrogenic. The solution should only be used if the container and seal are intact and the solution is clear. It should not be injected and should not be warmed above 66°C. The solution contains glycine USP and water for injection USP and has a pH of 6.1. It has an osmolarity of 200 mOsmol/liter. The solution should be discarded after use and aseptic technique should be used. It should be stored at room temperature and protected from freezing. The solution is free from natural rubber and does not contain PVC or DEHP.*
