Isolyte® P in 5% Dextrose is a multi-electrolyte injection solution for intravenous use that comes in a 500mL Excel container. It contains electrolytes, such as sodium phosphate, Hydrous dextrose USP, sodium acetate, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, dibasic potassium phosphate, and water for injection. This solution should not be used if the container and seals are damaged or if the solution is not clear. The additives used must be compatible and added using aseptic techniques. The solution can be stored at room temperature and should be protected from freezing. *
