RID Lice Killing Shampoo is a proven, effective treatment for head lice, pubic (crab) lice, and body lice. The active ingredients in the shampoo are piperonyl butoxide (4%) and pyrethrum extract (equal to 0.33% pyrethrins). The RID comb is 100% effective in removing lice as demonstrated in a laboratory study. It is recommended to use the product externally only and if either lice or nits are found. The shampoo is also available in Spanish instruction. Other RID products are Lice Treatment Complete Kit, Lice & Egg Comb-Out Spray, and Home Lice, Bedbug and Dust Mite Spray.
