DesOwen is a cream-based medication used only for topical use, containing desonide as the active ingredient. DesOwen cream is used to cure skin irritations and inflammation caused by skin diseases such as dermatitis. Each gram of DesOwen cream contains 0.5 mg of desonide and is packaged in different sizes. It has to be kept between 2 and 30°C (36" and 86'F) and applied a small amount to affected areas 2 or 3 times daily. DesOwen’ (desonide lotion) is a prescription-only lotion used for topical application only. The recommended dosage is to apply a small amount to affected areas up to three times daily. One bottle contains 118mL of lotion and active ingredient desonide 0.05% (0.5mg). Other inactive ingredients include caly aloho, odotato sodur, cory stearat S ght minera o, metybarcben, propyene oo, propyparaben, e vate, sodiu laury e, st morostez- rat, and staayl iono. The lotion may also contain citric acid and/or sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment. Lot number and expiration date are indicated on the carton. Galderma Laboratories, LP markets DesOwen’ lotion, and the product should be stored between 2°C and 30°C.*
