This is a description of a 2-part cold and flu medication from Walgreens. The first part, the Daytime formula, is non-drowsy and is useful for severe cold and flu symptoms such as aches, fever, sore throat, coughing, and congestion. It is alcohol-free and contains acetaminophen, dextromethorphan HBr, guaifenesin, and phenylephrine HCI. The second part, the Nighttime formula, is for severe cold and flu symptoms as well, such as aches, fever, sore throat, coughing, and congestion, also treating sneezing, runny nose, sinus congestion, and pressure. Unlike the Daytime formula, it contains doxylamine succinate to help with sleeping. It’s alcohol-free and contains acetaminophen, dextromethorphan HBr, doxylamine succinate, and phenylephrine HCI.*
