This is a medication for cold and flu symptoms. It contains acetaminophen (pain reliever/fever reducer), dextromethorphan hydrobromide (cough suppressant), and phenylephrine hydrochloride (nasal decongestant). It can temporarily relieve minor aches and pains, headaches, minor sore throat pain, nasal and sinus congestion, and cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation, and reduce fever. It comes with several warnings and may cause severe liver damage or severe skin reactions. The maximum daily amount is 6 packets per day. It should not be used in children under 4 years old, by those allergic to acetaminophen, or in those using other drugs containing acetaminophen. It is recommended to consult a doctor before use if you have liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus), or taking the blood thinning drug warfarin. The recommended dosage should not be exceeded, and it should not be used if the sealed packet is torn or broken.*
