This is a medication for temporary relief of chapped or cracked skin that contains Dineticons as its active ingredient. It is important to keep out of the eyes and not to use on deep or puncture wounds, animal bites, or serious burns. If the condition worsens, lasts more than 7 days, or clears up and occurs again within a few days, stop using the medication and consult a doctor. It is also necessary to store at room temperature and keep out of reach of children. The medication comes in a box with a Walgreens Pharmacist Survey label, and it is not manufactured or distributed by Merz North America, Inc., the distributor of Mederma® PMIntensive Overnight Scar Cream. The box also contains inactive ingredients and a warning to call a Poison Control Center in case of ingestion.*
