This is a drug fact sheet for chewable tablets of Extra Strength TUMS™ which contains Calcium Carbonate as an active ingredient. It is an antacid used for relieving heartburn, sour stomach, and acid indigestion. Each tablet contains 750mg of Calcium Carbonate USP. The product should not be taken for more than two weeks unless advised by a doctor. The tablets should be taken 2-4 at a time, and not more than 10 tablets every 24 hours. Pregnant women should not take more than six tablets in 24 hours. The product may inter-act with certain prescription drugs, and therefore, advice from a doctor or pharmacist is recommended. Inactive ingredients include Dac Yellow No. 10 ake, dexirose, FDC Blue o 1 ek, flavor, magnesium stearate, millodexrn, starch sucralose. For any questions or comments, contact 1-866-467-2748.*
