This is an over-the-counter medication used for relieving nasal and sinus congestion. The medication is a combination of guaifenesin (600 mg) and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (60 mg), which work together as an expectorant and nasal decongestant. The tablet comprises two bi-layers, an immediate-release layer for the instant effect and an extended-release layer that works for 12 hours to keep the user comfortable. The medication is comparable to Mucinex® D. The drug should not be used if you have high blood pressure, a persistent cough or if you are taking certain prescription medications. It has other inactive ingredients too.*
