The product contains chlorhexidine gluconate solution of 4% which is useful to reduce the number of microorganisms on the hands and forearms before surgery or patient care, for healthcare personnel handwash, and as a skin wound and general skin cleanser. It is only for external use and the user must be careful not to get it into the eyes, ears, mouth or wounds that involve more than superficial layers of the skin. It also has inactive ingredients.
