OMNISCAN is an injection for intravenous use only. It comes in 10 mL single-dose vials containing a sterile aqueous solution. The solution contains 287 mg gadodiamide and 12 mg clodiamide sodium in water for injection. The pH of the solution is adjusted between 5.5 and 7.0 with hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide. No preservatives are added. The unused portion of the vial must be discarded. It is stored at 20°-25°C (68°-77°F). The injection is light-sensitive, and it must not be frozen.
