It must be diluted before being used intravenously. The package insert should be reviewed for precautions and directions before use. The container should be promptly used once it has been entered and the contents should be discarded within 4 hours of initial closure puncture. The product is distributed by Hospira, Inc. and contains no more than 100mg/L of aluminum.*
