Uses
Do Not Use This Product
- if you are now taking prescription monaimine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product.
Do Not Take This Product, Unless Directed By A Doctor Before Use If You Have
- A breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis
- Glaucoma, heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure or thyroid disease
- Difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland
Ask A Doctor Or Pharmacist Before Use If You Are
When Using The Product
- May cause drowsiness
- Avoid alcoholic beverages
- Alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness
- Be careful when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery
- Excitability may occur, especially in children.
Stop Use And Ask A Doctor If
- Nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occurs
- Symptoms do not improve within 7 days or are accompanied by a fever.
If Pregnant Or Breast-Feeding,
Keep Out Of Reach Of Children.
Directions
| Adults and children 12 years of age and over: | 1 teaspoonful (5 mL) every 4 hours, not to exceed 6 teaspoonfuls in a 24 hour period |
| Children 6 to under 12 years of age: | 1/2 teaspoonful (5 mL) every 4 hours, not to exceed 6 teaspoonfuls in a 24 hour period |
| Children under 6 years of age: | Consult a Doctor |
Giving a higher dose than recommended by a doctor could result in serious side effects for your child.
