These are instructions for using the Sterile Water for Injection, USP, 5 ml Single-Dose Luer-Lock Vial, which must be used with an aseptic technique. A separate Luer-Lock syringe needs to be obtained for use with the vial. The instructions explain how to draw the contents using the syringe, including holding the vial firmly and twisting it to expose the Luer-Lock fitting, drawing the plunger back, and connecting the syringe to the vial before twisting it to withdraw the contents. The unused vial needs to be discarded, and the syringe should be connected to the final point of use.*
