LEVOCARNITINE INJECTION, USP used for intravenous purposes. Each 5 mL single dose vial contains 1 g/5 mL (200 mg/ml) of Levocarnitine. The injection should be protected from light and unused portions should be discarded. It needs to be stored at or below 25°C and should not be frozen. The pH is adjusted in the range of 6.0-6.5 with Hydrochloric Acid. The manufacturer is American Regent, Inc, located in Shirley, NY 11967.
