Label (Lactulose Solution 2)
Lactulose Solution USP is a medication distributed by Lannett Company, Inc. It's used for the treatment of constipation and each 15 mL of solution contains 10 g lactulose, along with other sugars and FD&C Yellow No. 6. The product should be stored at a controlled room temperature of 20° to 25°C and dispensed in original or light-resistant containers. The usual adult dosage is one to two tablespoonfuls daily, and it may take 24 to 48 hours to produce an effect. It's recommended to mix the solution with fruit juice, water or milk, and to consult with accompanying product information.*
