Lactulose Solution USP is a medication distributed by Lannett Company, Inc. It's used for the treatment of constipation and each 15 mL of solution contains 10 g lactulose, along with other sugars and FD&C Yellow No. 6. The product should be stored at a controlled room temperature of 20° to 25°C and dispensed in original or light-resistant containers. The usual adult dosage is one to two tablespoonfuls daily, and it may take 24 to 48 hours to produce an effect.
