This is a drug facts sheet for a topical analgesic containing lidocaine. The 4% w/w active ingredient temporarily relieves pain and itching caused by minor cuts, scrapes, sunburn, minor skin irritations, minor burns, or insect bites. It contains several inactive ingredients such as aloe barbadensis leaf extract, benzyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, cholesterol, di-alpha locogherol, glycerin, hydrogenated lecithin, isopropyl myristate, polys_orbate 80, propylene lycol, purified water, stearic acid, and trolamine. The product is for external use only, and the user should not apply it in or near the eyes, large quantities, particularly over raw surfaces or blistered areas. If an allergic reaction occurs, the user must stop using the product, and if the condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, the user must ask a doctor or contact a Poison Control Center. The product is not suitable for children under two years of age, and it must be kept out of reach of children. The user must apply it externally to the affected area up to 3-4 times daily. If swallowed, the user must contact a Poison Control Center right away. Store it at the USP controlled room temperature of 20 to 25°C (68 to 77°F).*
