This is a medicine with the active ingredients Dextromethorphan HBr (10 mg) and Guaifenesin (100 mg) that relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation by loosening phlegm and helping thin bronchial secretions to make coughs more productive. However, it is equally important to read the Warnings before using it. The bottle contains 5 mL and it is suggested to take every 4 hours as required or as directed by the doctor. It shouldn't be taken more than 6 doses in 24 hours. The product is not child-resistant and if the foil seal over the bottle opening is torn, broken or missing, it shouldn't be used. The inactive ingredients in it are cherry flavor, citric acid, FD&C Red #40, menthol, methylparaben, propylene glycol, propylparaben, purified water, sodium citrate, sucralose, and sucrose.
