Ciclopirox Shampoo Wethairand apply for topical use only, contains 10mg of ciclopiror per gram. The shampoo base consists of purified water, sodium laureth sufate, disodium laureth sulfosuccinate, sodium chloride, and laureth2. It should be used on the scalp for 3 minutes and then rinsed off, avoiding contact with the eyes. Treatment should be repeated twice per week for 3 weeks with a minimum of 3 days between applications. If a patient with seborrheic dermatitis shows no clinical improvement after 4 weeks of treatment with Ciclopirox Shampoo, 1%, the diagnosis should be reviewed. The package is not child-resistant.
