Metronidazole Gel is a topical medication used only for external use. Each gram of the gel contains 10mg of metronidazole. The gel is composed of betadex, edetate disodium, hydroxyethyl cellulose, methylparaben, niacinamide, phenoxyethanol, propylene glycol, propylparaben, and purified water. It is applied thinly once a day to the affected areas. The medication must be stored between 20°C to 25°C and not used for oral, ophthalmic or intravaginal use.
