This is a Topical Antiseptic that helps to prevent infection in minor skin injuries such as cuts, burns, and scrapes. It is a povidone-iodine solution that contains 10% povidone-iodine equivalent to 1% titratable iodine. This product is used as a health care antiseptic for surgical site preparation and also for preparing the skin for injection. It comes in an 8 oz (236 ml) bottle and is meant to be used externally. The product must not be used in the eyes or on a larger area of the body. It is not recommended for people who are sensitive or allergic to iodine. In case of serious burns, animal bites, or deep puncture wounds, a doctor should be consulted. The inactive ingredients include Citric Add, Glycerin, Sodium Citrate, Tween 80, Disodium Phosphate, and Purified Water.*
