This is a description of a drug product used for relief of pressure, bloating, and fullness commonly referred to as gas. The active ingredient in each softgel capsule is simethicone (125mg) and it acts as an antigas agent. The suggested use for adults is to swallow with water 1 or 2 softgels as needed after meals and at bedtime, with a maximum of 4 softgels in 24 hours unless under the advice and supervision of a physician. It contains inactive ingredients as well, such as D&C yellow #10, Gelatin, Glycerin, and Peppermint oil, among others. There is a warning to keep the product out of reach of children and if pregnant or breastfeeding to ask a health professional before use. It is not manufactured or distributed by GSK Consumer Healthcare, distributor of Gas-X® Extra Strength. This product is distributed by Major* Pharmaceuticals. The product is available in a pack of 30 softgels.*
