This is a description of a medical product known as "Fenwal Blood-Pack Unit Triple". It is a 450 mL blood collection and processing unit containing an anticoagulant solution called "Citrate Phosphate Dextrose Adenine Solution, USP (CPDA-1)". Each pack contains a primary container with 63 mL of CPDA-1 solution with 2 g dextrose, 1.66 g sodium citrate, 188 mg citric acid, 140 mg monobasic sodium phosphate, and 17.3 mg adenine. The product should be stored at room temperature and protected from freezing and excessive heat. The package includes a sample diversion system and a 16 ga. Ultra Thin Wall Fenwal HighFlo Needle. The product is sterile and non-pyrogenic. The instruction for use should be followed. The package has an open pouch with a notch and the user should handle with care. The unused units can be kept up to 60 days, but the unused units removed from the package should be returned within 12 hours.
